KITCHEN TABLE

This table was my families kitchen table when I was a little girl, and was in desperate need of a makeover and I tool on the challenge.

Here we go!

Sanded
Citristrip (paint and varnish stripping gel). I will NEVER use this product again. It was an enormous and sticky mess.  Just sand it and wipe the dust off.

I used Minwax pre-stain wood condition. I wanted the stain to soak in more evenly, and it worked great.

Stained the table with Minwax classic gray

I painted the legs with white pre-tinted trim and doors paint from Walmart. I had used chalk paint on a previous project and hated it, so I went with a very basic trim paint. This paint was so much easier to work with and turned out amazing.
Sanded the edges to get the weathered look

Spray painted the feet with pewter grey spray-paint

Last, the top coat is a Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish. I used semi gloss and did 4 coats.
